BMW’s new energy vehicles have accumulated sales of 300,000 units in the Chinese market

On December 4th, BMW Group announced on its official Weibo account that the cumulative sales of BMW new energy vehicles in the Chinese market have reached 300,000 units. It is understood that the current BMW new energy vehicle models sold in the Chinese market include pure electric iX3, iX1, iX, i3, i4, and i7. In the first ten months of this year, the sales volume of BMW pure electric vehicle models in the Chinese market was approximately 78,600 units, a year-on-year increase of 211%. At the 2023 Guangzhou Auto Show, the all-new long-wheelbase version of BMW 5 Series made its global debut. At the same time, for the first time in history, BMW introduced an innovative pure electric model – BMW i5. It is reported that this new car will be launched at the end of January 2024. With the introduction of this innovative pure electric model -BMW i5-, almost all major segments of BMW Group’s pure electric products will be covered.
